METHOD FOR PRODUCING PILE-WOVEN PRODUCT FROM RAW SILK AND PILE-WOVEN PRODUCT PRODUCED BY SAID METHOD

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pile-woven product from raw silk which does not exhibit pile loss, has good stability and the inherent good feeling of silk, is fluffy due to sufficient formation of air layers between twisted threads, and has superior moisture absorption and desorption properties. This method for producing a pile-woven product from raw silk is characterized in that the following are performed in no particular order: a sericin fixing process that is performed on the raw silk; a single-twist process in which a plurality of slack strands of raw silk are lightly twisted to create a single-twist thread; a mixing process in which a water-soluble thread is twisted around the single-twist thread in the opposite direction from the twist of the single-twist thread to generate a mixed thread; a dissolution process in which the water-soluble thread is dissolved; and a pile weaving process using the mixed thread.
