A medical device management method based on a network hospital platform, and the network hospital platform. The method comprises: monitoring a stock quantity of medical devices in a medical device management storehouse; determining replenishment devices and a corresponding replenishment quantity of the replenishment devices according to the stock quantity of the medical devices and a corresponding prompting threshold; and sending a prompting message to a medical device management platform to make a prompt for replenishing the corresponding quantity of the replenishment devices. In the method and the platform, by monitoring the stock quantity of the medical devices, whether the medical devices need to be replenished and the corresponding replenishment quantity are determined, so that the replenishment timeliness of the medical devices is ensured, the problem of goods shortage due to untimely replenishment of the medical devices is avoided; in addition, a prompt is automatically given to the medical device management platform by means of a network hospital, the workload of medical care personnel is mitigated, and the work efficiency is improved.
