A medicine management method based on a network hospital platform, and the network hospital platform using the same. The method comprises: monitoring a stock quantity of medicines in a medicine storehouse (S10); determining replenishment medicines and a corresponding replenishment quantity of the replenishment medicines according to the stock quantity of the medicines and a corresponding prompting threshold corresponding to the medicines (S20); and sending a prompting message to a medical management platform to make a prompt for replenishing the corresponding quantity of the replenishment medicines (S30). In the method, by monitoring the stock quantity of the medicines, whether the medicines need to be replenished and the corresponding replenishment quantity are determined, so that the replenishment timeliness of the medicines is ensured, the problem of shortage due to untimely replenishment of the medicines is avoided; in addition, a prompt is automatically given to a medical management platform by means of a network hospital, the workload of medical care personnel is mitigated, and the work efficiency is improved.
