An LED light strip structure, a backlight module, a liquid crystal display device and a method for controlling the LED light strip structure. The LED light strip structure (200) comprises: a circuit board (201); at least a first LED series (202) and a second LED series (203) which are arranged on the circuit board in parallel, wherein the first LED series has a plurality of pre-set intervals, and each LED in the second LED series respectively corresponds to one of the plurality of pre-set intervals. Two columns of LEDs are arranged on the circuit board in parallel. Dark areas generated by one column of light strips just fall within the bright areas of the other column of light strips, thereby eliminating the hot spot phenomenon. Compared to reducing the interval between LEDs, alternately lightening one column of the two columns of light strips in a certain impulse frequency has a more obvious improvement effect; moreover, compared to a single column of light strips, double columns of light strips may select to lighten which column of light strips by means of circuit control. Alternately lightening the two columns of light strips in a pre-set frequency may eliminate the hot spot phenomenon in a more energy-saving manner.
