METHOD OF PROPHYLAXIS AGAINST TRANS-RECTAL AUTOINTOXICATION AND AN ENEMA SYRINGE FOR RECTAL CLEANSING

A method of prophylaxis against trans-rectal autointoxication using an enema syringe comprises devising an individual lifestyle and diet as well as removing from the rectal cavity digestive waste remaining therein after any act of defecation, using pre-determined quantities of water or a special liquid, and removing the remaining liquid from the rectal cavity once lavage is complete. The above-mentioned procedure is carried out until flatulence has normalised and there are no traces of faeces in the evacuated portions of liquid over a considerable period of time. The proposed enema syringe comprises a tip of any design having pressure valves or suction return valves, a bulb, a measuring vessel or a source of a fluid, and connecting tubes. The tip is detachable and can be exchanged for other tips of different design and length. The enema syringe is equipped with apparatus for estimating the quantity, pressure and temperature of the cleansing medium supplied into the rectal cavity during any lavage procedure.
