This V2G system comprises: a power system; a charging/discharging device including an electricity storage unit that is provided to a transportation instrument, a power conversion unit that converts power between the electricity storage unit and the power system, a reception unit, and a control unit that controls the operation of the power conversion unit in accordance with a reception signal; and a server device that manages the charging/discharging of the electricity storage unit in the charging/discharging device. The server device determines a time for discharging electricity from the electricity storage unit of the charging/discharging device to the power system or a time for charging the electricity storage unit with power supplied from the power system, and transmits, to the charging/discharging device, a command including said time. In the charging/discharging device, the control unit is activated or inactivated on the basis of the time indicated by the command from the server device.
