The purpose of the present invention is to reduce a burden upon a user in editing tree structure data with text. Provided is a tree structure data editing device (1), in which, if a selection range has been designated in an editing screen, a node selection means (14) selects one or more node IDs from among tree structure data on the basis of the position of the selection range. If a paste destination of the selection range has been designated in the editing screen, a connection destination determination means (16) determines a connection destination node ID from among the tree structure data on the basis of the position of the paste destination. A tree structure data editing means (17) edits the tree structure data such that nodes which the one or more node IDs indicate are connected to the node which the connection destination node ID indicates. A transform means (11) transforms the tree structure data which has been edited by the tree structure data editing means (17) into text data. A display control means (12) updates a display of the editing screen on the basis of the text data which has been transformed by the transform means (11).
