HARDLY GRAPHITIZABLE CARBONACEOUS MATERIAL FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERIES USED IN FULLY CHARGED STATE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, NEGATIVE ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERIES, AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY IN FULLY CHARGED STATE
Provided are: a hardly graphitizable carbonaceous material which has high charge capacity and high charge/discharge efficiency, and which is used for a negative electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries (for example, lithium ion batteries) that are used in a fully charged state; and a method for producing this hardly graphitizable carbonaceous material. Also provided are: a negative electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, which contains this hardly graphitizable carbonaceous material; and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which contains this negative electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, and which is in a fully charged state.A hardly graphitizable carbonaceous material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries to be used in a fully charged state, which is configured such that the elemental oxygen content is 0.25% by mass or less.
