LAPAROSCOPIC GASTRIC BYPASS METHOD FOR TREATING OBESITY

The invention relates to medicine, and specifically to surgery. A laparoscopic mini gastric bypass is performed. A gastric banding device is used for forming a small stomach having a volume of 30 to 50 mL. A stomach segmenting element is secured and covered using seromuscular sutures. A loop of the small intestine having a length of 200 to 300 cm from the ligament of Treitz is anastomized to the small stomach. A gastrointestinal anastomosis is formed using an anastomosis compression clip having a length of 15 to 20 mm. After removal of the compression device from the anastomosis area, the communication between the small and large segments of the stomach is hermetically sealed. The method provides for the low-impact surgical treatment of obesity, and reduces the risk of intra-operative and post-operative complications by means of a minimum number of anastomoses, incisions, and sutures.
