TIGERSHARC SERIES DSP START-UP MANAGEMENT CHIP AND METHOD

A TigerSharc series DSP start-up management chip and management method, the start-up management chip comprising an interface unit, a dual-port RAM unit, a management unit and a DSP download management unit, and also comprising a flash drive unit and a NOR flash chip. The management unit is connected to the flash drive unit, the dual-port RAM unit is connected to the NOR flash chip via the flash drive unit, and the NOR flash chip communicates with the DSP download management unit via the flash drive unit. The management chip provides two start-up modes, NOR flash chip and external bus start-up modes, improves a host boot start-up method, provides two start-up program download means, and significantly increases the start-up speed of a TigerSharc series DSP chip.
