Provided is an in-home alert mode deactivation system for home security which is capable of automatically deactivating an in-home alert mode appropriately even in the case where a user forgets to deactivate the in-home alert mode. An in-home alert mode deactivation system 10 for home security is provided with: a power usage amount detection unit 2 for detecting a power usage amount per predetermined time period in a house 100; a deactivation condition generation unit 4 which associates the times of a plurality of deactivations in the past of the in-home alert mode including the previous deactivation, with the power usage amounts per predetermined time period in the past including the previous time of deactivation of the in-home alert mode, and generates a deactivation condition for performing an in-home alert mode deactivation determination; and a deactivation instruction generation unit 5 which performs an in-home alert mode deactivation determination by comparing the power usage amount per predetermined time period at the current time with the deactivation condition, and, on the basis of a result of the determination, generates a deactivation instruction signal for deactivating the in-home alert mode.
