The present invention relates to a commercial vehicle battery power device and a battery charging method using the same, the device enabling: a passive capacitor module and a lead acid battery to be connected in parallel through a switch; a passive circuit to be operated when a 12V power is used so as to resolve a balance problem between lead acid batteries; and a high-power capacitor module connected in parallel to a lead acid battery to be operated when high power is required, such as when starting, such that power can be compensated. Therefore, the present invention enables a lead acid battery and a super capacitor module to be connected in parallel such that a large amount of current can be supplied from a super capacitor to a start motor when high power is outputted during the starting of an engine, and lead batteries can be balanced with each other by using the capacitor, thereby enabling 24V and 12V to be selectively used since a DC/DC converter is not required.
