Battery Charging Session. Investigation of Charging Methods for Nickel-Cadmium Batteries.

摘要

For many years alternating current superimposed on direct current and periodic reverse current have been employed by the electroplating industry for the purpose of attaining smooth and bright electrodeposits. Several reports have been made on the effects of charging batteries by pulsing or periodic reverse current. This paper presents data on the effects of pulse and direct current charging on the electrical performance of nickel-cadmium batteries.
