A flameout control method for an electric instructional vehicle. The flameout control method comprises the following steps: determining whether an electric instructional vehicle meets an condition of entering a flameout operating condition; if so, then controlling the electric instructional vehicle to enter the flameout operating condition; upon the entering of the flameout operating condition, controlling a motor of the electric instructional vehicle to output a negative torque; and after a predetermined duration, controlling the motor to terminate operation. The flameout control method of an electric instructional vehicle can simulate vibration when a flameout occurs and improve realistic experience. Also provided is an electric instructional vehicle.
