METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SELF-CLEANING OF COAGULATION TUB IN LAUNDRY MACHINE AND LAUNDRY MACHINE

A method for controlling self-cleaning of coagulation tub in laundry machine and a laundry machine. The method comprises: upon determining that a coagulation tub (1) requires cleaning, activating a preset cleaning procedure of the laundry machine and directing a cleaning fluid into the coagulation tub (1) for cleaning the coagulation tub (1), wherein the cleaning fluid is a mixture of a cleaning agent and water. The laundry machine comprises a wash tub (2) and the coagulation tub (1). The wash tub (2) is connected to the coagulation tub (1) through a water pipe (3), wherein the water pipe (3) is connected to a water pump (4). The coagulation tub (1) is provided with a water level sensor (7), a temperature sensor (8), and an agitator (6). The invention is characterized by further comprising a laundry machine main controller (9), wherein the laundry machine main controller (9) comprises a control module and a timing module. The laundry machine main controller (9) is electrically connected to the water pump (4), the water level sensor (7), the temperature sensor (8), the agitator (6), and a heater (5). The invention addresses issues of an absence of a cleaning function for a coagulation tub, leading to coagulated particles adhering to the side of the tub walls and to microbial proliferation after long-term use. The invention further addresses an inability of achieving thorough cleaning of the coagulation tub by using water rinsing.
