摘要

PURPOSE: A method for controlling dehydration in drum-type washing machine is provided to optimize the dispersion of the laundry by applying optimal acceleration gradient according to the amount of the laundry in increasing speed. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling dehydration in drum-type washing machine controls differently acceleration gradient according to the amount of the laundry contained in a drum in increasing the speed of the drum up to the laundry-sticking speed to detect eccentricity. The laundry dispersion effect at the correspondent laundry amount is maximized at the acceleration gradient. The method for controlling dehydration is composed of steps for detecting the amount of the laundry(S301); accelerating the drum at the acceleration gradient decided according to the present amount of the laundry(S302); measuring eccentricity of the drum rotating at the laundry-sticking speed(S303); and dewatering the laundry at high speed if the eccentricity is smaller than a reference value and returning to the second step after stopping a motor for the constant time if the eccentricity is larger than the reference value(S304,S306).
