The incense forming mold comprises a base (1), an incense shaping plate (2), and a male mold (3); a platform (11) for laying incense ashes (A2) is disposed on the base (1); a hollowed-out incense shaping groove (21) is formed in the incense shaping plate (2); the male mold (3) is provided with a shaping bulge (31) corresponding to the incense shaping groove (21) in shape and position, and the height of the shaping bulge (31) is greater than or equal to the thickness of the incense shaping plate (2). The incense forming method comprises the specific steps: laying an ash layer (A2) on a platform (11) of a base (1); placing an incense shaping plate (2) on the ash layer (A2); enabling a shaping bulge (31) of a male mold (3) to correspondingly pass through an incense shaping groove (21) of the incense shaping plate (2), and carrying out pressing to form a recessed ash groove (A21) in the ash layer (A2); taking the male mold (3) away, laying the incense powder (A1) in the incense shaping groove (21) of the incense shaping plate (2), and enabling the incense powder (A1) to uniformly drop into the recessed ash groove (A21) and then flattening the incense powder (A1); and taking the incense shaping plate (2) out, so that a structure is formed in which the ash layer (A2) is flush with the upper end of the incense powder (A1) and the lower surface and the side surfaces of the incense powder (A1) are embedded in the recessed ash groove (A21).
