Disclosed is a two-step pressure sintering method for preparing a transparent yttrium oxide ceramic part. The method comprises the following steps: (1) synthesizing a ceramic powder: preparing a high-purity superfine yttrium oxide nano-ceramic powder by a reverse coprecipitation process; (2) sintering a transparent yttrium oxide ceramic: preparing a transparent yttrium oxide nano-ceramic by a spark plasma sintering process involving a two-step pressurization technique; and (3) post-treatment: after the spark plasma sintering process, removing a sample, annealing the sample, and grinding and polishing the sample to obtain the transparent yttrium oxide ceramic part as the final product. The two-step pressure sintering method for preparing a transparent yttrium oxide ceramic part first prepares, using a reverse coprecipitation method, an yttrium oxide nanopowder with a smaller and uniform particle size, followed by a spark plasma sintering process with two-step pressurization to prepare the transparent yttrium oxide ceramic part with excellent compactness, uniform particle size and excellent performance. The transparent yttrium oxide ceramic part prepared has a strength exceeding 400 MPa and a transparency of higher than 60%.
