Provided are an electric wire processed by molding and a cable processed by molding which are excellent in terms of appearance and airtightness even when the insulator layers are directly covered by molding with a highly heat-resistant molding resin such as polyphthalamide.The cable 110 processed by molding comprises: conductors 1; insulator layers 2 disposed on the periphery of the conductors 1 and constituted of a resin composition that comprises 30-70 parts by mass of a thermoplastic polyurethane, 70-30 parts by mass of a polyester-based resin, the sum of the two being 100 parts by mass, and 0.1-5 parts by mass of a carbodiimide compound; a sheath 3 disposed on the periphery of the insulator layers 2; and a molded object 30 formed from a molding resin, the molded object 30 having been bonded to the insulator layers 2 and covering the exposed end parts of the conductors 1 and the end parts of the insulator layers 2 that are on the side facing the exposed end parts.
