An intelligent illumination early-warning system for campus street lamps, comprising a first illumination module (1), a second illumination module (2), a control module (3), a light sensing module (4), an emergency call module (5), a power module (6), and a control terminal (7). The light sensing module (4) is used for sensing light intensity near a street lamp and sending, when the light intensity is lower than a set lowest light value, information to the control module (3). After receiving the information from the light sensing module (4), the control module (3) enables the first illumination module (1), and when failing to enable the first illumination module (1), the control module (3) enables the second illumination module (2). The emergency call module (5) comprises an emergency call means (50) and an alarm (51). The emergency call means (50) is used for driving the alarm (51) to give out a sound alarm while sending an alarm prompt to the control terminal (7), and sending information to the control module (3) so as to adjust the brightness of the first illumination module (1) to the maximum value. When the first illumination module (1) is damaged, the control module (3) enables the second illumination module (2) for illumination so as to maintain the stability of illumination, and sends information to the control terminal (7) by means of the emergency call means (50) so as to ensure timely maintenance.
