Disclosed are a system for cloud streaming service, a method for image cloud streaming service using an alpha value based on an image type, and an apparatus for the system. The server for cloud streaming service according to the present invention may compare a plurality of frames corresponding to an application execution screen, may capture an image corresponding to a region in which a change has occurred, may determine the type of image by taking into account an alpha value corresponding to the image, may select a still image encoding technique based on the type of image, may perform still image encoding on the image by using the selected still image encoding technique, and may stream an image, on which the still image encoding has been performed, to a terminal of a user. Accordingly, the still image encoding can be more efficiently performed on an image captured during image-based cloud streaming service.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
