Disclosed are a cloud streaming service system, a cloud streaming service method depending on an image type, and an device for the same. The cloud streaming service depending on an still image can be performed by capturing a change area included in a changed frame compared to the pervious frame, selecting an still image compression method by applying a first standard which considers an image type of the change area, selecting a still image compression method by applying a second standard, different from the first standard, when a change area is a grey zone, not included in an image type, and sending a user a change area encoded by a still image compression method. By using a still image compression method appropriate to a situation when the cloud streaming service is offered, it is possible to enhance still image compression efficiency and cloud service streaming speed.
