Provided are a positive electrode active material for a sodium iron secondary battery, a method for preparing the same, and a sodium iron secondary battery using the same. The positive electrode active material for a sodium iron secondary battery according to the present invention comprises NaFePO_4 coated with a conductive polymer. NaFePO_4 coated with the conductive polymer can provide a positive electrode active material for a sodium iron secondary battery having improved performance, which can provide an excellent high-rate charging/discharging characteristic and an excellent life characteristic.
