Olivine sodium iron phosphate with polymer coating sodium iron battery comprising the same as cathode material and process thereof

A positive electrode active material for a sodium secondary battery, a method of manufacturing the same, and a sodium secondary battery employing the same are provided. The cathode active material for a sodium secondary battery according to the present invention includes NaFePO ₄ coated with a conductive polymer. The conductive polymer-coated NaFePO ₄ can provide a positive electrode active material for a sodium secondary battery having improved high rate charge / discharge characteristics and excellent lifetime characteristics.
