The present invention relates to a non-contact smart gesture recognition device and a method thereof interworking an action event with realistic media content. The present invention includes a triangle type infrared ray sensor unit (100), a gesture camera unit (200) configured to obtain a gesture image according to the motion of a person; and a smart gesture control unit (300).
