The present invention relates to hanbok (Korean traditional dress) and, more particularly, to functional hanbok which has various functions and is capable of various presentations. The hanbok comprises: an outer skirt including a skirt fabric, a skirt waist, and a pair of skirt strings; a jeogori (a jacket for Korean traditional clothes) worn on the upper part of the outer skirt; a dongjeong (a thin white cloth-covered paper collar for Korean traditional clothes) attached to the upper part of the collar formed on the jeogori along the circumference of a users neck, and retaining the shape; a shawl attached to the jeogori to be worn on the shoulders; and a hyangdae (an embroidered tie for Korean traditional clothes) including a hyangdae body and a hyangdae loop. The skirt fabric forms the shape of a skirt. The skirt waist is formed on the upper part of the skirt fabric, and surrounds a users chest. The skirt strings are formed on right and left ends of the skirt waist, and fixate the skirt waist by surrounding the skirt waist. A heat-emitting pad for insulation is formed at the internal center of the shawl, and a decoration member having a decorative effect is formed on both ends of the shawl. The front side of the hyangdae body is embroidered, and the back side of the hyangdae body has a pocket formed, wherein the pocket can be opened and closed by a locking means. The hyangdae loop is formed on the upper part of the hyangdae body, and is connected to the skirt string.
