An endoscope system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an image signal generation part that is connected to one side of a cable and includes a signal transmitting part which transmits a converted image signal after converting the image signal depending on a transfer protocol for a long distance to be able to transmit an image signal for the inside of a human body through the cable; a signal processing part that is connected to the other side of the cable and converts the converted image signal into the image signal after receiving the converted image signal through the cable; a CPU outputting a user interface on the image signal and an operation control signal in accordance with the operation of the user interface by a user; and an image processing part that overlaps the output image signal from the signal processing part with the user interface, and processes the image signal depending on the operation control signal. Therefore, a high speech image processing for the endoscope system is provided.
