An SEP 2.0-based home energy management system is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for managing home energy comprises the steps of: collecting state information of equipment necessary for power supply in a home based on SEP 2.0; storing the state information; and controlling the equipment based on SEP 2.0 on the basis of the stored state information. Accordingly, various services can be provided as well as facilitating accurate and quick equipment monitoring by facilitating SEP 2.0-based home energy management.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
