The present invention relates to a method of producing a two-phase Ni-Cr-Mo alloy. According to the present invention, in the method of producing a wrought nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy having homogeneous two-phase microstructures; the alloy in ingot form is subject to a homogenization treatment at a temperature between 2025F and 2100F and is subsequently hot worked at a start temperature between 2025F and 2100F. The alloy preferably comprises: 18.47-20.78 wt% of chromium, 19.24-20.87 wt% of molybdenum, 0.08-0.62 wt% of aluminum, less than 0.76 wt% of manganese, less than 2.10 wt% of iron, less than 0.56 wt% of copper, less than 0.14 wt% of silicon, up to 0.17 wt% of titanium, less than 0.013 wt% of carbon, and the remaining consisting of nickel.
