Dental alloy based on Ni-Cr-Mo (Remanium CSe) was melted and casted by the four most common technology used in dental laboratories, using: (1) oxy-acetylene blowpipe, (2) the induction furnace (3) the Volts arc and (4) the methods Autocast. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the above melting and casting techniques of Remanium CSe alloy on its corrosion resistance in Ringer solution. The evaluation of dental alloy corrosion resistance was determined by potentioki-netic polarization methods and metallographic analysis. The potentiokinetic polarization curves and microstructural studies revealed that the use of different techniques for melting/casting has a negligible effect on the corrosion resistance of the tested alloy. It has been shown that the microstructure of the Remanium CSe alloy after casting is composed of a dendritic matrix. The predominant phase in the structure is intermetallic γ (fcc) phase, enriched in nickel. The high concentration of molybdenum in the alloy composition has contributed its strong segregation in entire volume of material. In areas interdendritic Mo separations were observed, as well as the separation of eutectic (γ - P).
