The present invention relates to a teaching aid using a mechanical principle for teaching about driving force transmission. The teaching aid using a mechanical principle for teaching about driving force transmission according to the present invention is a teaching aid using a mechanical principle for teaching about driving force transmission in which constituent members are cut from a plate material and assembled. The present invention includes: a frame formed by an upper plate, a lower plate, a first side plate, and a second side plate being coupled with one another; an operation handle rotatably coupled with the first side plate of the frame; a first gear coupled with one side of the operation handle and positioned inside the frame; a second gear positioned at a lower end inside the frame and engaged with the first gear; a crankshaft having a lower end rotatably coupled with the lower plate of the frame after passing through the second gear and an upper end rotatably coupled with the upper plate of the frame; a connecting rod having one side coupled with the crankshaft; a moving shaft coupled with the other side of the connecting rod, having a lower end coupled to be capable of a linear movement with the lower plate of the frame, and having an upper end coupled to be capable of a linear movement through the upper plate of the frame; and a model vehicle coupled with the upper end of the moving shaft and moving forward and backward after being placed on the upper plate of the frame as a result of an operation of the operation handle. According to the present invention, the members provided on the plate material are cut and then a user assembles operation constituent portions of a railroad car and a rail on his or her own. As a result, his or her concentration can be improved. The teaching aid using the completed railroad car is operated by the user himself or herself. Then, the members of the railroad car teaching aid are operated and the course of driving force transmission can be visually observed during operation principle learning. As a result, scientific interest can be aroused and educational effects can be improved.
