The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing a prognosis of an early-stage non-small cell lung cancer patient by using PD-L1 polymorphism. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a use of the same, wherein the method can diagnose and predict a prognosis affecting a survival result of early-stage non-small cell lung cancer by using a 257th base of SEQ ID NO: 1, a 690th base of SEQ ID NO: 2, and a 154th base of SEQ ID NO: 3 disposed in a PD-L1 gene. A technique for predicting a lung cancer survival prognosis according to the present invention easily evaluates a prognosis of a patient having lung cancer, and targeting a means and a treatment for selecting and evaluating a treating scheme, thereby being able to improve a survival rate of a lung cancer patient.
