The present invention relates to a system, method, and application for managing attendance. By using a terminal, the application for managing attendance can execute: an attendance management check request information reception function which receives attendance management check request information from a server configured to manage attendance; an image information generation function which generates image information regarding a face of a user; a meta-data generation function which generates meta-data including a brightness value, exposure value, and location data related to the generated image information; a location data generation function which generates location data indicative of a current location of a terminal; an attendance check information generation and transmission function which generates attendance check information, including the image information, the meta-data, and the location data of the terminal, and transmitting the attendance check information to the server in response to the received the attendance management check request information; and a normal attendance processing information reception determination function which determines whether normal attendance processing information has been received from the server, which regenerates the attendance check information when the normal attendance processing information has not received, and which transmits the attendance check information to the server.
