A high-speed multi-object recognition method using a computer according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: a step of calculating, by a computer, a template moment vector including central moment values from at least one template image; a step of calculating a template ring projection transform (RPT) vector from at least one template image; a step of calculating a query block moment vector including central moment values with respect to a block image having the same size as the template image from the query image; a step of determining the primary similarity of a block image in accordance with the similarity between the template moment vector and the query block moment vector; a step of calculating a query block RPT vector with respect to the block image having passed the determination of the primary similarity, and calculating a normal cross correlation coefficient between the template RPT vector and the query block RPT vector; a step of determining the secondary similarity of a block image on the basis of the calculated normal cross correlation coefficient; and a step of determining that there is an object corresponding to the template image at the positions of block images having passed the secondary similarity determination.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
