The present invention relates to a cloud server, a media playback device and a computer program for processing an event for a user interface. The cloud server for processing an event for a user interface comprise: a generating part generating an object tree for a user interface; an encoding part encoding the generated object tree; a transmitting part transmitting the encoded object tree to a media playback device; and an extracting part extracting change information for the object tree based on event information when receiving the event information for the user interface from the media playback device. The encoding part encodes the extracted change information, and the transmitting part transmits the encoded change information to the media playback device.
