The present invention relates to a method for producing sweet and sour deep-fried shrimp, and sweet and sour deep-fried shrimp produced thereby. According to the present invention, the method for producing the sweet and sour deep-fried shrimp comprises the following steps: (S1) cleaning and trimming shrimp; (S2) mixing soybean powder and turmeric powder together so as to produce frying powder; (S3) applying the frying powder produced in the previous step (S2) to the shrimp; (S4) primarily frying the frying powder-applied shrimp in oil so as to cook the same; (S5) cooling down the primarily fried shrimp and then secondarily frying the same in oil so as to cook the same again; (S6) producing sweet and sour sauce; (S7) mixing the shrimp fried in the previous step (S5) with the sweet and sour sauce; (S8) preparing topping ingredients; and (S9) topping the sweet and sour sauce-mixed shrimp with the topping ingredients.
