The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for predicting a naphtha premium. The method for predicting a naphtha premium according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) analyzing a plurality of independent variables including difference between naphtha price after 5 cycles and naphtha price after 7 cycles from a half month interval including a predicted time of point with a plurality of main components through a main component analysis technique using an eigenvalue and a cumulative value; (b) building a regression model to conduct a regression analysis on correlation between the plurality of main components and a premium to be predicted; and (c) calculating the main components and a premium predictive value through the regression model.
