The present invention relates to a method for isolating and culturing epithelial progenitor cells (EPCs) from peripheral blood. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for increasing efficiency in isolation and culture of EPCs from peripheral blood by specifying a composition of a culture medium. According to the present invention, the method for isolating and culturing EPCs maximizes efficiency in isolation of a trace amount of EPCs contained in blood, thereby being useful in cell therapies using EPCs.
