The present invention relates to a transformant with increased carbonic acid anhydrization activity using carbonic anhydrase derived from Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and to a manufacturing method thereof. Carbonic anhydrase expressed on the surface of cells according to the present invention has an excellent hydration activity of its own, and has high thermal stability. Therefore the carbonic anhydrase can be utilized for an effective fixation of carbon dioxide as a whole-cell enzyme system which is industrially useful.
