According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a memory for storing a use polity related to the electronic device or a first user corresponding to the electronic device with respect to at least one resource of the electronic device; a communication module for communicating with an external electronic device; and a resource management module implemented with a processor. The resource management module is set to receive user information on a second user corresponding to the external electronic device from the external electronic device by using the communication module, to change at least part of the use policy based on at least part of the receiving operation, and to adjust a use level of the electronic device or the first user with respect to the at least one resource based on at least part of the changed use policy.
