The present invention relates to a solar cell comprising: a substrate; a rear electrode layer arranged on the substrate; an optical absorption layer arranged on the rear electrode layer; a buffer layer arranged on the optical absorption layer; an intrinsic zinc oxide (i-ZnO) layer arranged on the buffer layer and represented by chemical formula 1; and a front electrode layer arranged on the i-ZnO layer. The content of oxygen (O) in the i-ZnO layer is reduced from the interface between the buffer layer and the i-ZnO layer to the interface between the i-ZnO layer and the front electrode layer.
