The present invention relates to uses of sulglycotide for promoting healing of skin wound, and a composition for external skin application comprising sulglycotide as an effective component. By using sulglycotide, which is a natural material, as an effective component for promoting healing of skin wound, the composition has higher drug safety, can be manufactured at low costs and shows an effect for promoting healing of skin wound at low concentration of the effective component.
