The present invention provides a method for manufacturing stabilized fucoxanthin microcapsule particles comprising a step for manufacturing a mixed solution by adding a second solution obtained by dissolving polymethyl methacrylate, butylated hydroxytoluene, tocopheryl acetate and fucoxanthin in ethanol to a first solution obtained by dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in ionized water, and a step for distilling the mixed solution under reduced pressure to remove ethanol, and also provides a cosmetic composition comprising the microcapsule particles manufactured by the same method. The fucoxanthin is stabilized by becoming microcapsules, so as to maintain a threshold value for a long period of time under the room temperature and refrigeration conditions, thereby providing a functional material for high value-added products.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
