The present invention provides a pressurizing device for a battery cell, as a device for pressurizing a battery cell during initial charging and discharging for activation of the battery cell, which comprises: a diaphragm having a cell pressurizing unit; a base frame for fixing the diaphragm so as to face the first surface of the battery cell; a pressurizing plate coupled to the cell pressurizing unit and configured to pressurize the first surface of the battery cell; a support frame facing the second surface of the battery cell which is the opposite surface of the first surface; and a charging/discharging pin connected to an electrode terminal of the battery cell, wherein the charging/discharging pin is connected to the electrode terminal of the battery cell to initially charge or discharge the battery cell in a condition in which the support frame supports the second surface of the battery cell and the cell pressurizing unit moves toward the first surface of the battery cell to pressurize the battery cell.
