RNA METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR TARGETED GENETIC MODIFICATION USING PAIRED GUIDE RNAs

Compositions and methods are provided for generating and promoting a dual allele-targeted alteration of an intracellular genome, and for producing a non-human animal comprising a modified genome. Also provided are compositions and methods for transforming genomes within cells that are heterozygous for the allele such that the cells are homozygous for such alleles. The method uses two or more guide RNAs and Cas proteins that target different locations within the genomic target locus. Also provided is a method for identifying cells having a modified genome.
