The present invention relates to an LED lamp for an automobile courtesy light and a manufacturing method thereof. When a silicon layer (16) for preventing the spreading of a molten synthetic resin around an LED element (14) fixed to one surface of a substrate (12) is formed, the LED element (14) is coated with a molten synthetic resin containing a light diffusing agent and then hardened to form a protruding lens (18) serving as a coating. It is possible to protect the LED element (14) from an external impact or moisture. It is possible to prevent a point light source phenomenon when a plurality of LED elements (14) is installed. The lens (18) allows a beam angle to be widened, and also brighter light can be obtained by light diffusion due to the light diffusing agent distributed throughout the lens (18).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
