The present invention relates to an electrode assembly for an electrochemical device, wherein the electrode assembly includes an electrode and a separator. The electrodes are a cathode and an anode, and a separation membrane is interposed between the cathode and the anode. Also, at least one of the electrodes, that is, the cathode and/or the anode faces a porous coating layer formed on at least one surface of the separator, and the porous coating layer includes inorganic particles and a binder polymer resin. In the electrode and the porous coating layer facing each other, the affinity of the binder polymer resin (a first polymer resin) contained in the electrode and a binder polymer resin (a second polymer resin) contained in the porous coating layer satisfy a specific formula.
