According to the present invention, a cultivation method of a water parsley in a river and a lake can cultivate the water parsley rapidly in large quantities by utilizing the river or the lake. The present invention is possible to supply the water parsley to consumers inexpensively. The water parsley has an ability to purify the water and helps to purify the water quality of the river or lake, which can contribute to prevention of the occurrence of the algae by preventing the eutrophication of the river or lake. In addition, fishes can live and lay eggs in the root of the water parsley, so they can also function as fish farms and spawning grounds.
