The present invention relates to a universal adapter for a micro 5-pin and lighting 8-pin connectors, and an apparatus having the same. The universal adapter for a micro 5-pin and lighting 8-pin connectors of the present invention comprises: insertion terminal units separately inserted into a lighting 8-pin connector provided in an electronic device and a micro 5-pin connector provided in another electronic device, and formed to have a groove portion to be opened forward therein; a lighting 8-pin connection unit provided at an outer side of the insertion terminal units to be connected to the lighting 8-pin connector when the insertion terminal units are inserted into the lighting 8-pin connector; a micro 5-pin connection unit provided at the groove unit of the insertion terminal units to be connected to the micro 5-pin connector when the insertion terminal units are inserted into the connector for the micro 5-pin; a body having the insertion terminal units provided therein; and a control unit provided inside the body, and separately distributing power supplied from the outside to the lighting 8-pin connection unit and the micro 5-pin connection unit to control power to be supplied to the electronic device having the insertion terminal units inserted into the connector thereof. According to the present invention, a micro 5-pin connector and a lighting 8-pin connector are separately realized in a single adapter so as to be commonly used in not only an electronic device having a micro 5-pin connector but also an electronic device having a lighting 8-pin connector. Furthermore, the inconvenience due to the use of different types of individual adapter is solved, and a non-economic problem due to a purchase of different types of individual adapter can be solved, and convenience can be provided to a user.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
