IME COORDINATING INPUT METHOD EDITORIME ACTIVITY BETWEEN VIRTUAL APPLICATION CLIENT AND SERVER

摘要

A technique for entering human language characters into a virtual application is to establish a communication channel between a client IME performed in a client machine and a server IME performed in a server, so that the client IME uses the server IME as a proxy to interact with a virtual application performed in the server. The server IME relays information from the client IME to the virtual application. The server IME also relays information from the virtual application to the client IME. Therefore, the server IME enables the client IME to interact with the virtual application as if the client IME interacts with a local application and facilitates a similar user experience in both the virtual and local applications.
